Congrats Plan3/ AviLabs!

23rd June, 2021

Plan3, a passenger disruption management tool for airlines, built by AviLabs won the Ai’s Virtual Lions´ Den competition Best Product award, held as a part of the #MegaEvent21.

The company also bagged the Best Pitch award (on the basis of live audience poll).

Airlines can use the Plan3 tool to visualise flight schedule activity and, when disruption occurs, to communicate with disrupted customers, presenting relevant option packages such as new flights, hotel accommodation, ground transportation and digital vouchers.

Other pitching companies included:

  • KornChain: Presented their LoyalT platform, being positioned as a vital bridge between the host of online retailers, via the major e-Commerce platforms, to associate themselves with issuing of airline miles and other loyalty currencies. Also, the platform promises real-time earning of reward points as well as redeem and exchange functionalities across the ecosystem of partners.
  •  Air Black Box: Their managed interlining solution connects one or more airlines’ inventories, including ancillary products and services. An airline can cross-sell flights and ancillaries while maintaining unified passenger records. Managed interlining gives airline the flexibility to easily expand route networks. Also offers airline the integration benefits of conventional codeshare agreements without the limitations of legacy interlining processes and older technology. The offering is airline and PSS-agnostic: supports all airline types (FSC, LCC, ticketed, ticketless), and any PSS.
  • Software development company 2e Systems referred to facilitating selling of vouchers. For instance, on a platform like Amazon, where an airline benefits by gaining access to “the cash immediately”.
