As international borders globally begin to re-open, winning the business of travellers becomes high priority for the travel industry. With the re-opening of the Canada-United States border in August, Destination Canada (The Government tourism board for Canada), recognised the importance of capturing the high-value American traveller segment and incentiviznig them in new ways to make Canada their next holiday destination. In partnership with Air Canada and StatusMatch, Destination Canada launched the first-of-a-kind Status Match campaign that specifically targets the most valuable commercial travellers in the United States. In this webinar, Destination Canada & StatusMatch will discuss why the interest in loyalty programs, how the campaign was designed to benefit the Canadian economy, and some of the key metrics of the campaign.
