NDC was developed by IATA and its airlines as a standard to enable airlines to sell more efficiently online. We’ve seen via our “NDC: Retrofitting Payments” webinars that payment and fraud implications resulted by not including the payments industry in the discussion. Similarly, companies which provide travel and hospitality to the public were also largely left out of the development of NDC.

This event looked at NDC and the broader travel industry and how cooperation on “online retailing” can drive revenues for all travel industry players.
